After carefully weighing all of our options, the Bike to the Beat planning committee has come to the difficult decision to cancel Bike to the Beat: Track 5. We made this decision with the safety of our riders, our volunteers, and our communities in mind. You have been there to make our event great, and we wouldn’t be doing our part if we put on an event that wasn’t safe, or wasn’t the amazing experience you are used to. We simply feel that there are too many unknowns this year to be able to properly plan the event you all deserve – and you deserve the best!
If you have already registered, we will be posting a link soon where you will be able to request a refund of your registration fees, or if you are feeling generous and want to help us do some good for your neighbors, you may choose to donate all or part of your registration fees to the Fox Cares Foundation. This money will help support their efforts to fight hunger, end homelessness, and provide access to the arts – all in our local communities. For more information on the Foundation’s efforts, please visit their website at www.foxcares.org.
Even though we won’t be gathering in person, we’d love to see you get out as a family and ride – wear your past Bike to the Beat participant shirt and take a picture, upload it to the BTTB Facebook or Instagram page using the hashtag #biketothebeat . Follow us on Facebook @BikeToTheBeat so you don’t miss it!
We hope that you stay safe and healthy, enjoy time with your families, and look forward to our next ride together!
